PS3 vs Xbox360 vs Wii

The gaming industry has really grown lately. We have seen new game consoles hit the market with great looking games, and we've seen them rise in popularity with a multitude of of gamers buying them on their release dates. We are currently in the 7th generation of game consoles, with computer games that concentrate on consoles released since 2004. This generation is at the fore front of a full console battle, waged between Sony's PlayStation three, Microsoft's XBox 360 and Nintendo's Wii. Trying to purchase just one console will confuse you, trying to decide between these 3 is mind boggling. One thing to remember is that each machine will have it's own plus and minus points, so you'll want to make your decision based on how you'd like to use your console. When the Nintendo Wii was launched, it came out with some never before seen motion sensing capabilities. Wii players are able to physically move their bodies while playing their games. It's basically fun, you can move your controller, shift your body, and much more in tennis or first person shooter type games.
The PlayStation3 vs Xbox 360 vs Nintendo Wii.
Let's start with the Nintendo Wii. Well the Wii is a great console, and is the most widely used console due to its interactivity. You can also say that it's the casual gaming factor or the price, Nintendo has had the Wii on top of its success list. Aside from the benefits of interactivity, Wii is WiFi which is known to consume less power in comparison to the PS3 and 360. The Wii has great customer support for its consoles and games. In contrast to all this great PR, the Wii is only good for casual gamers, if you're a full time gamer looking for a high quality graphics experience then the Wii isn't for you. The Wii's visuals aren't the same a 360 or PS3 as it doesn't have that tremendously cool hardware backing it up. Now, If you're a hardcore gamer then there are two strong machines waiting for you - the PS3 and the XBox 360. These consoles offer amazing visuals and gameplay and are releasing some of the best titles right now. Most die hard gamers are constantly making a choice between the 2 and decision is hard. Before I got my PS3 I had to do a lot of research. I thought about many things, before making my final choice. So you'll need to think extensively before you actually buy the PS 3 or 360. For me it was the controller, I was much too accustomed to the Playstation controller as I've been playing the PS for many years , and I could never get used to the 360 controller. When buying your console you should also do some research by reading magazines, visiting online forums, or you can simply go to your local hardware shop, and stand there for a few hours and play some video games like I did. I stood at BestBuy playing StarWars: The Force Unleashed for 2 hours on both consoles before really making up my mind. And even after I did that I was still blown away, because we've all heard about the PS3 and the Xbox 360's hardware capacities.
When it comes to technical support, I would have to confess, I was given the XBox 360 as a Christmas present when it first launched, and I found out that MS prohibited support to the 1st one and as a consequence it the system just faded out. In contrast, Sony still provides a lot of support to the PS2, and it's still getting new titles to this day. So I am very confident that my PS3 will last a long time, but I'm not sure what to say about the future of the Xbox 360. Each console has it's best attributes and its flaws.
