PS3 Facts - TechnologyPS3 Facts - Technology:
The 80GB PS3 is tough with a very a robust hardware base supporting it. There's enough capacity in the PS3 to store about twenty thousand songs, so you won't run out of memory too quickly. Yes, the PS3 is priced a lot higher than its rivals like the Xbox 360 consoles, but it does have some unique features that neither Microsoft nor Nintendo have included in their gaming machines. To begin with, there's the Hi-definition Blu-Ray DVD player that's included in the console. With HD DVD dying the Blu-Ray is now the format of choice. It's not just the PS3 hardware that you should think about, but all the many PS3 games and accessories as well. The PS3 controller will often give the gamer a different experience when playing different types of games. As an example in a racing game like Motor Hurricane the user has the chance to either use the analogue sticks to manage the automobile, or turn the six axis feature to regulate the car by steering with the controller which will give the user a more realistic experience. Then take into account the PS3 has many exclusive games not available on other consoles. For example Metal Gear Solid Four: Guns of the Patriots is one of the many titles only available on the PS3. The PS3 might be priced higher than all the other consoles, but because of its exceptional hardware, and overall performance it's still excellent value for the money.
